Terms and Conditions

1. Who is offering the service

Iceforma Academy is a trading name of Iceforma Academy Sdn Bhd (Business Reg. 1612587-V), a private limited company incorporated in Malaysia.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By browsing this site, submitting an enquiry, or paying for an Iceforma course you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

3. The service

We provide online English language tuition delivered live by native-speaker tutors via Zoom or Google Meet. Course duration, content and pricing are set out on the relevant course page at the time of booking. We reserve the right to amend syllabus details to improve outcomes — material changes will be communicated to active learners.

4. Booking and payment

• All prices are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include any applicable taxes.
• Payment is taken at booking via Stripe (card) or direct bank transfer.
• For multi-session plans, two-payment plans are available on request.
• We do not accept cryptocurrency.

5. Scheduling, rescheduling and missed sessions

• You may reschedule a session up to twelve hours before its start, free of charge.
• Cancellations less than twelve hours before are recorded as completed sessions — the recording is still available to you on demand.
• Tutors who cancel for any reason rebook at a time that works for you, at no cost.
• Unused sessions remain valid for six months from purchase.

6. Tutors

We endeavour to keep the same tutor with you for the duration of your plan. In the rare event a tutor leaves the academy mid-course we will assign a substitute of equivalent seniority within seven days, with no break in your schedule.

7. Recordings, intellectual property and dashboard

Lesson recordings are stored on your learner dashboard and remain your property for the lifetime of your course. The Iceforma curriculum, lesson plans, written materials and dashboard software are the intellectual property of Iceforma Academy Sdn Bhd and may not be redistributed.

8. Acceptable use

Tutors, learners and staff agree to behave respectfully on calls. Harassment, hate speech, threats or repeated disruption may result in immediate termination of the engagement without refund. We will tell you, in writing, what triggered the decision.

9. Refunds

See our refund policy for the full terms. In short: pro-rata refunds on unused sessions within thirty days of purchase, no questions asked.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by Malaysian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of our service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Kuala Lumpur.

12. Updates to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be emailed to active learners. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page is the source of truth.
