Cookie Policy
Last updated 14 May 2026. A short, honest list of every cookie this site sets and what it does.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads — that you are logged in, what language you prefer, or whether you have already dismissed a banner.
Three categories of cookie we use
1. Strictly necessary
These are not optional — the site does not work without them. We use:
- PHPSESSID — keeps your form submission and CSRF token tied to your browser session. Expires when you close the tab.
- cookieconsent_status — records your choice on the cookie banner so we do not ask again on every page. Lifetime: 365 days.
2. Analytics — only if you accept
If you click "Accept" on the cookie banner we set a single anonymised analytics cookie so we can see which pages people visit and which links break. The data is aggregated; we never see your identity.
- _ifa — anonymised analytics cookie. Lifetime: 90 days. Set only after consent.
3. What we do not set
We do not run advertising cookies, Facebook pixels, Google Ads tags or any cross-site tracking. If you see something resembling one in your browser tools, please let us know — we will hunt it down.
Managing your preferences
Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page to change your choice at any time. You can also clear cookies from this site directly in your browser settings — when you come back the banner will reappear and you can pick again.
Browsers and Do Not Track
We honour the Do Not Track browser signal where present: if your browser sends it, we will treat that as a "Reject" answer to the analytics question without showing the banner.
