Who it is for

If you have stopped progressing on apps, this is the answer.

Adults at B1 and above who have plateaued, professionals with a specific outcome (job interview, university interview, scholarship application) and parents who want fast progress for their own English — not their child’s.

The plateau learner

You can read, you can write — but every time you open your mouth in a meeting, the same five constructions come out. A 1:1 tutor diagnoses the loop and rewires it.

The high-stakes deadline

A scholarship interview in eight weeks. A panel pitch in twelve. We compress sessions, rewrite goals weekly and run mock-runs from week three onwards.

The schedule chaos case

If your week is full of shift work, travel or small children, a 1:1 plan is the only one that bends around you. Cancel up to twelve hours before, reschedule into any open slot.

Twelve-week shape

What the standard plan looks like.

Customised at week one, but the rhythm is consistent across learners.

Weeks 1 — 2 · Diagnostic

Sixty-minute interview, written task, recorded monologue. Your tutor scores you against CEFR descriptors and we agree the week-twelve outcome together.

Weeks 3 — 6 · Foundations rebuild

Targeted work on the two or three structural slips that hurt you most. Pronunciation drills if needed; collocation work most weeks.

Weeks 7 — 10 · Stretch tasks

Real-world tasks scaled to your goal — board memos, interview prep, presentations, academic essays. Recorded and reviewed.

Weeks 11 — 12 · Capstone

A final assessment that mirrors the goal you set in week one — mock interview, mock pitch, mock exam. A written report and CEFR sign-off.

What is included

The plan covers more than just the lesson hour.

  • Twelve sixty-minute private sessions with your dedicated tutor
  • Weekly written feedback note with three priorities for the week ahead
  • All recordings stored on your learner dashboard for the lifetime of the course
  • A diagnostic interview (week 1) and a written capstone report (week 12)
  • Up to twelve homework assignments — marked, returned within 48 hours
  • Free rematching with a second tutor within the first three sessions
  • Digital certificate of completion with CEFR band and verified contact hours

Questions

Asked most often before booking.

Can I keep the same tutor for the whole plan?

Yes — that is the design. You sign up to your tutor. Switching mid-plan is allowed if the fit is not right, but most learners stay with the same person for the duration.

What if I cannot do every week?

Pause your plan for up to four consecutive weeks with no penalty. Beyond that, sessions roll into the next month at no extra cost.

Do you offer 30-minute sessions?

Not for the 1:1 plan. We have found 60 minutes is the minimum useful unit — anything shorter does not leave room for diagnosis, drill and rehearsal.

Is the certificate accepted by universities?

Several Malaysian and Singaporean universities accept our completion certificate as evidence of supplementary English study. For formal language requirements, IELTS and TOEFL remain the gold standard.
