Before you book a trial.
The questions our learner success team is asked most often, in the order they usually come up.
How are Iceforma classes delivered?
All sessions run live on video call — either Zoom or Google Meet, your choice. A few minutes before the lesson your tutor sends a join link to your learner dashboard. Every session is recorded automatically and saved to your account for the lifetime of your course.
Are the tutors really native English speakers?
Yes. Every Iceforma tutor was born and raised in a primarily English-speaking country, holds a recognised teaching credential (CELTA, TESOL or DELTA) and has at least three years of online teaching behind them. You can read each tutor’s bio and qualifications on the Tutors page before you choose.
Do I get a certificate at the end?
Complete the required contact hours and the closing assessment of any structured programme and you receive a verifiable digital certificate. It includes your CEFR band, total hours, dates and a QR-link for employer or university verification.
Can I switch tutors mid-course?
Of course. If the personality fit is not right, your learner success advisor will rematch you within 48 hours. We do encourage giving a pairing at least three sessions to settle — but you are never locked in.
What happens if I miss a class?
Cancel at least twelve hours before the session and we reschedule for free. Same-day cancellations are still recorded so you can review the material on your own — but the slot does not roll over.
Do you offer refunds if I am unhappy?
Yes — see our Refund Policy for the full terms. In short: pro-rata refunds on unused sessions within the first thirty days, no questions asked.
Where in Malaysia do learners join from?
Mostly the Klang Valley, Penang, Johor Bahru, Ipoh and East Malaysia — though learners join from as far afield as Sabah and Singapore. Our tutors are spread across the UK, Australia and Canada so sessions can be scheduled across the working day in MYT.
